INFORMATION ON FILING YOUR TAX RETURN
In order to send in your tax return to Revenue Canada you will need the following:
Name
Date of birth
Income and deductions
Last year’s tax return (if available)
T4 slips from employment
T5 slips from investments
Any other information
Registered pension plan contributions
Union and professional memberships
Child care expense receipts
Attendant care receipts if handicapped
Moving expenses
Expenses of employment
Any out of pocket expenses incurred from business or employment
Amounts paid to non-resident dependents
Tuition receipts
Medical receipts for whole family including private medical insurance costs
Charitable donations
Rent receipts or property taxes paid
Record of any installment payments made during the year.
