Cartwright Age-Friendly Council: 

The executive for this council consists of Lynn Froese, Penny Burton, Shirley McLeod, and Joan Ostrom.  Our group’s mandate is to raise awareness of the benefits and importance of an age friendly community.  With the help of our communities of Cartwright, Mather, and RM of Roblin, we want to assess our communities and ensure policies, services, and structures are accessible to allow for security, good health  and full participation in society.   

Services could mean easy access to our sidewalks and businesses for seniors, and parents with small children. Our washrooms in parks and community buildings could be more user friendly for seniors and disabled persons.   

We would appreciate your input into making our community age-friendly.
